Lilian has more than seven (7) years of experience in corporate events management.
She has worked for Institute of Internal Auditors Tanzania for five years as Head of Communication and Business Development where she was responsible for Procuring loyalty programs and implemented various business development strategies that increased stakeholder’s awareness of the institute and their participation in institute’s events.
With IIA Tanzania she also planned and directed all public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favourable public image of the Institute, for the 1st time in 9 years since established IIA Tanzania received Global Champion Awareness Award and a heavy commission from IIA certification sales revenue in 2019.
At her time with IIA Tanzania she succeeded to manage and coordinate all Institute’s Public Events i.e. Seminars& Workshops, Forums and Conference, IIA Tanzania annually conducted a total number of 8 professional events,1 Governance forum and 1 International Annual Conference and had an outstanding turn up of 400 participants for the conferences and 40 to 70 participants to the monthly events but also the institute was rate as number one in conducting very high-quality professional events.
Her outstanding performance at IIA Tanzania made her to secure a job at Information Systems Audit and control Association (ISACA) Tanzania Chapter as the Business Development Strategist in charge of chapter’s daily business operations and execution of overall strategic direction of the chapter to enable it to attain its growth objectives under the guidance of the board.
With ISACA she successfully engaged the chapter in different lines of business and professional trainings projects with private and public stakeholders such as GIZ, Tanzania Ministry of Finance, Internal Auditor General and Controller and Auditor General Offices, with this the chapter has witnessed the revenue growth that has never happened since when it started in 20 years ago.
Her events management skills and experiences changed ISACA events into outstanding events thus increased turn up. In playing her role of planning and coordinating chapter’s events, meetings, appointments, and conferences she was able to conduct two internationally quality conferences also improved and increased the number of events conducted by the ISACA Tanzania Chapter annually and for the 1st time in 20 years since ISACA was established the chapter experience a never before number of participants in the 2023 ISACA Tanzania Annual Conference.
At ISACA she also initiated the chapter to conduct two major professional trainings in IT Audit which were ICT Audit Fundamental for Auditors and Certified Information Systems Audit (CISA) review classes.
Ms. Muze holds a Master degree of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Management from Mzumbe University and a Bachelor degree in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
